You mean not Just hear "I'd beat his ass"? That's how I feel A lot of threads go on BG sometimes.

yes, exactly! You all seem very mindful of your kids feelings, and that is awesome.

my mom was/is an alcoholic and i still remember how it made me feel when she would belittle me or gave me "because i said so" answers. dont get me wrong, sometimes they do get "because i said so" but usually only after the explanation isnt good enough for them lol (my boys could argue with a wall : / )
i remember feeling so small, and i remember genuinely wanting to know how something worked and being hurt when all i got was those answers.
