Working Husband...Suspicious Behavior?

Well my DH just started a new call-center job last week, and today he came home acting super awkward. He came in and went immediately to our room. Came out a few minutes later and then started digging in the pantry and asking what's for dinner, I went over to give him a kiss, and I grab him around the neck like I normally do when I want a kiss, and he kept backing away. I didn't say anything I figured maybe he's stressed, but I also smelled an overwhelming cologne smell as I came toward him...he NEVER wears cologne, not since we met. I want to know if it's bad that I'm a little suspicious? Should I question him about it?

The kiss thing is kinda weird, but he could just be wearing cologne to...."smell good"? for the new job. Er, make a first impression i guess.

Hell no its not bad to be suspicious. If he never wears cologne then don't hesitate to ask why he's got it on now. Tell him he's acting weird & ask what's going on. He could be under stress from something that happened with a coworker or his boss

Sounds like he's met someone at the new job he might be trying to impress. I'd mention that you like the cologne smell on him and ask him where and why he got it. Tell him it means a lot he's starting to wear it for you. At this point, SOMETHING should come out or he should be getting nervous you're catching on. Get the gist?

Hmm, that's strange. I wouldn't confront him just yet. See how things go & if he continues to act weird ask him what's wrong. But don't accuse him of anything unless you know for sure.

Maybe he was smoking weed? Used the cologne to cover the smell and had the munchies lol. Just ask him whats up?

I agree with this, a simple "Mm, you smell great. What is that?" could do the trick. If he acts weird after that, then you know something is up.

Maybe he wanted to smell nice that day?

This too. i don't always wear scented crap, but sometimes do and it annoys the living hell out of me when dude acts suspicious when i choose to.

The kiss thing would bother me more than the cologne thing.

No he wouldn't do that, because he's also in the guard and they piss test randomly, he doesn't want to test HOT. I know him better than that, lol...but that would've been a good deduction otherwise.

This, possibly.
I only wear deodorant usually. If I'm going out, sometimes I'll use my spray stuff, sometimes I won't. I like to negate my feeling crappy by looking/smelling nice, so if I feel like utter smurf, chances are I smell awesome, lol.
Maybe he had a bad day at work?

Yeah, I will tomorrow, since he also turned in SUPER early (which I also found strange since he usually always stays awake or wakes up for Jimmy Fallon) this kiss thing is what truly bugged me, the cologne thing just added to me being suspicious.

I hope it's nothing. He may have just had a rough day or something. Hopefully everything is okay.
