My ex and my kids and I are all traveling to see friends of the family this year for Christmas. I have gotten everyone a gift - booze for our host, a facial kit for my friend, and cologne for her husband. My ex tells me it is "weird" to get someone else's husband cologne and that it is considered an "intimate" gift akin to getting someone else's wife lingerie! What do you all think? It is just set of 3 small things of men's cologne that my friend has told me is her favorite.

If it's cologne that SHE likes him to wear, I don't see the problem.

Usually specifics like that the person likes should be gifts from their spouses, SOs or family members IMO.

If she told you it's something to get, then I don't see the problem.

She didn't give me any present ideas. I just remember her saying that during a conversation we had a long time ago.

I think it's weird to go with your ex. Would be for me anyway. I don't think its inappropriate to give Cologne..go for it.

My ex and I are good friends, we just do not do well as a couple. haha Though he still irritates the smurf out of me sometimes, it is going to be a loooong car ride. We do things as a family quite a bit. It has also been a rough year, so everyone wants to see him and me and our kids.

i think its fine to give him cologne as a present. My mom buys them to give out on christmas eve to any extra guests who might show up
