I had mine out at five, and they only hurt bad for about a day. I felt totally back to normal within a week  .

How do they look??? Poor little lady.

Had mine removed at 11 and it hurt for like 2 weeks. Popsicles and lots of yogurt helps alittle.

I had mine removed 4 years ago at 20 lol. I was in pain for a good week or 2. Some just don't handle pain as well as others.

I hope it gets better soon..poor baby  I know it's not fun stuff, but will for sure be worth it in the end.

I'm pretty sure yogurt is a no-go because you're not supposed to eat dairy for awhile after, but I could be wrong now.

Usually young children heal much more quickly than older kids/adults.

Dairy is off limits.

I ate lots and lots of apple sauces..so much apple sauce I was sick of it. I remember eating mashed potatoes as well and soup. I swear I lost like 10 pounds in 2 weeks.

I guess things changes because that what I was told eat and vanilla ice cream. But then again that was when I was 11 so like 12 almost 13 years ago.

My son just got his removed yesterday and he's 3. The doc told me some kids heal in 3-4 days and others may take up to 2 weeks.

Call the doc office if it's a serious concern.

I got mine out 18 years ago and was told absolutely no dairy. It probably varies by hospital. Just like how some places tell you to clean the umbilical cord stump and others tell you not to touch it.
