Dean got so bad he couldn't even play, he would just fight and cry, didn't pay attention, didn't want to participate on the team, his 1st opening ceremony we spent in bathroom trying to get him out he refused to do it, when he's been playing baseball since he was 3ish, now he's asking to go back to batting cages, its amazing... I always thought he had some kind of attention problem, he was always blurting things out and very impulsive, now with the meds even his behavior has gotten better, he's even able to comunicate after he's had what we call his, *meltdowns* where as before he just kept fighting with us.

He's on lowest dose of adderall 5mg once a day...

333 isn't that troublesome like that. But I feel if things do not change he will and I am not sure if I can mentally take it. I stay with headaches. I would never in my life hurt my child regardless how bad they are but my fuse is short and I feel like screaming sometimes.

When he was that small it was managable, I just thought all boys were like him he started getting outta hand around 4ish, when he turned 5 he lost it... 5 and half he started acting out waaay more. When he started 1st grade this year he got kicked out of a private school he was in for not even a month... it was 1 thing after another, and it was bad. He was getting verbally abusive to adults other kids, making threats, fighting, like throwing hands and putting kids in submissions, *his dad does mma* so he was really trying to hurt people...
He's been on meds 2 and half months and its a god send, I was looking into military schools, or even 1 of those scared straight camps lol I was soo desperate... I even had cps called on me because he was acting out so bad, teachers made reports that it was not the normal, *bad kid stuff* they put in police report, kids and staff were fearful of him... to have cops come to my house and tell me that, was last straw, I refused to let him suffer because he's wired to be the way he is...

My hubby is gone a lot too, I find though that packing them up and leaving is actually the hard part. Once I am THERE, it is easy peasy, it's just the initial stress of making sure they both have full bellies, have used the potty/clean diaper and well rested. Sometimes that takes like 3 hours, lmao.

We don't do rewards ever. I think it makes for kids who think they deserve material things for the behavior that is expected of them every day. We give lots of compliments on behavior though.
