How many Negative HPT?

AF is about a week late, about a week before AF was due I had brown spotting and a very little blood mixed with the brown and it lasted about 4 days on and off. I thought it might have been implantation bleeding (not sure though) and did and HPT which was negative. So I thought AF must be fashionably late. Today, very early in the a.m I felt like AF arrived, went to the bathroom but nothing, it was only watery CM. A week has gone by and still no AF. I tested again and it was a negative.  
Any ideas on what is going on? So confused about this!  

if you're a week late and you're still getting BFN then I'd go get a blood test.

I gt a few negatives Hun but then made an appointment in docs and they said I was 6 weeks pregnant

Maybe that was AF and she actually came early?
I'd go to the dr and get a blood test to be on the safe side.

Wow! Really? I've only used the ones that have the blue ink (or what ever its called). I made an appointment with my Gyn who is also an OB, but not 'til the 17th. Wish it was sooner

Yeah I've had weird stuff like that happen with AF! She's a dumb unpredictable hoe!

Could be AF could be Implantation bleeding.

I took a HPT from the dollar store and it was Negative. I'm starting to think if that brown spotting could have been an early visit from AF. But I'm NEVER early, and usually my AF starts light, then heavy, then light again and gone.
Don't know. Guess I will have to wait for Dr's appt.
