I'm so sad.....

My son was born on the 1st at 36wks. Everything looked so good for him but today I had to leave the hospital without him.   Tuckers jaundice lvls were at a 14 so now I am home again without a baby. This really sucks.... I am just so sad.

It is hard. DS was born at 36 weeks and stayed in the NICU for a week. I am sorry you have to go through this.

But what made me feel a little better was knowing I got 4 extra weeks with him since he was early   He is now 5 months and doing wonderful!

Im sorry hun! My daughter was born at 36 weeks and also had jaundice but she only had to stay an extra 24 hours and got to room with me the entire time.

How much did he weigh? Bo was 5 lbs 3 oz at birth but lost weight because of the jaundice and came home at 4 lbs 10 oz!

Love the name Tucker BTW!

Im sorry.   my daughter was born at almost 40 weeks and had a level 17 of jaundice. We got to bring her home with the bili light.

Thank you! You think I would be used to not bringing home my babies but i'm worse this time then when my 29 weeeker was in the nicu. He was 6lbs 9oz. I know he will probably come home tomorrow but it is not making me feel better. OMG my ppd is horrible this time around. I am just a blubbering mess. My last bay i guess i didn't have time to register everything and this time around I have had nothing but time to sit and be sad. UUUUUHHHG....lol

I was so sad when they told be Bo had to stay. We had signed all of the discharge papers and were all packed to go and then they checked her levels. She was only 1 point above the level but they wouldnt let her go because she was a preemie. I cried all day and couldnt even really.cuddle her because she had to be on the blanket.

I am sorry, I know how it is. My daughter was in the NICU for a week when she was born. I cried every time I left the hospital from seeing her.

I am sorry Hudsen got to 17.9 and we had to do lights at home. He is great now. But it was a LONG battle and yep over thanksgiving. But I want a healthy baby. I will keep you in my thoughts hun for you and baby!!!

Oh no poor little guy! I still love that name!!! We were able to go pick Tucker up last night at 11:30 lol. I wish they would send me home with lights for him. His lvls went town to 9.4 hopefully they stay down. How are you and Hudsen doing?

Glad he is home!!!!! Hudsen and I are great. I had hardly any recovery to do. Which was nice to not have any pain or bleeding by 4 days out oh and getting back to pre preg weight. But I have enjoyed this last week now that he isn't under lights, sadly today was the last nice day. So I can't go on walks anymore and things. I was really loving being out and about with him. I guess I may get my bottom in gear and start cleaning and enjoying one on one little baby time with him.

Glad hes home! Iknow how it feels currently right now my daughter is ib the hospital been here since monday but luckly im in tge same room with her. Her levels were at 19. And she was born exactly a week ago! We only got to be home for 2days .
