Wrong place at the wrong time *vent

UGH I hate it when I'm at the wrong place at the wrong time! Ran to the convenient store, there was nobody parked by my truck when I went in with my 15mo, came out and there was a car parked on too close to my truck to even open the door on the passanger side, so I had to squeeze DS's stroller between my truck and the car parked on the drivers side. By the time I had the door open on one side, DS in his stroller on the other side where I could not get out, the lady in the car opened her door. and JUST my luck the stench of pot smoke came rolling out of their car. I look over and noticed she is an adult, i'd say late 30's to early 40's, and had 4 teens in the car who each had a joint lit up. I quickly got DS in the truck, stroller tossed in the back end and jumped in the truck. *BTW for those that don't know, I'm allergic to pot. My skin felt like it was on fire before we even got out of the parking lot, my mouth, throat, nose and lungs are raw and burn. Luckily my hubby was home, I handed DS to him and I ran to get a shower, then gave DS a bath as soon as I got out. Now I'm waiting on benadrill to kick in and luckily I have a doctors appointment in the morning so I can get some meds to help with this crud. However, I am VERY glad that my son showed no signs of the pot smoke bothering him in any way. Ok, rant over.

On a serious note- I've never heard of someone being allergic to pot. That sucks. Hope you're okay.

How do you come across finding out your allergic to pot?

I wonder if they add it on the allergy test? :-)

I guess anything can happen but I have never heard of it.

Pot gives me migraines. I guess some of these ladies do not realize that you can actually have an allergy to what some refer to as 'the cure for everything'

And why did you take a stroller into a convienient store? Isn't that a gas station? Just a question... It seems like it would be easier to carry LO rather than having to deal w/ a stroller!

I've never heard of anyone being affected by it when they weren't even smoking, and standing outside. Crazy.

How does one find out they are allergic to pot? just curious.....
