Best friends newb.

One Of my dearest friends had her baby two weeks ago.

I messages her when she had her to let me know when she is ready for visitors because I remember how overwhelming it is post baby and having a bazillion visitors. Aria, the baby is two weeks old. I'm gonna go hang out in about an hour. How long is too long to hang out? I feel like I should know this since I have a two year old. I don't want to overwhelm her so if the child is freaking out I will leave and not be overbearing. I just want to help her since I know the baby is also not sleeping at night.

I sound silly. But oh well!

1-2 hours, would be good. Unless she asks for you to stay longer.

I would follow her lead.

Well since it is your BEST friend I'd stay until she drops a hint to leave. Lol.

I would spend the night.

Lol that's how it would be for me too! Lol there are no boundaries with us though.

Anyone else I'd spend an hour and a half.. tops.

I agree with following her lead, and if she seems tired or something then I would call it a night. Maybe offer some help while you're there (do some dishes, etc.).
