Period

Is it normal to be pretty irregular for like the first year? I had my period like 6 weeks after giving birth and it was usually then always on time( but it would sometimes be heavy sometimes be really light) and then just a couples months ago it started getting really irregular and I missed this month completely. Now I know I am not preg cuz me and the bf haven't had sex in a year. And before pregnancy I was always regular. Is this just still my body being wacky or do you think I should go to a doc? I'm kinda worried...

Are you breastfeeding?

No I wasn't making enough and had to quit. Only breastfed the first 2 weeks.
