MOther of god. Smurf. Story of my life!

This smurfing car. I bought it in March. It's a 2001 Sebring LXi coupe and it had 55k miles on it when I bought it. It was fantastic. It now has 77k miles. Whatever.

Just over a month ago, my smurfing tire blew as I was going 80 down the highway. Scared the hell out of my friend. $150 to replace.

Then I find out it needs a new battery. Not that expensive. $75

Sunday, another tire blows out. $165.

I need two more tires because clearly these expensive ass Cooper tires aren't holding up. $330

I need brakes and rotors all around. $400.

I need an oil change. $100.

FML. All at smurfing once!!!

I wish it was feasible for me to ride a bicycle everywhere.

Get a Honda. You won't be sorry.

You can change the oil yourself and it wouldn't cost much other than the oil and the filter and the oil catching pan.

Ugh, sorry it is all at once. I just put 2 new tires on my car and I need to replace the other 2 soon as well.

Hubby just replaced all of his tires and he needs new brakes.

I hate cars lol.

That always happens to us too. I hate it. I miss my Mazda.  

I got ya beat.

Replaced starter twice this year $300
Radiator and fuel pump $800
Alternator $600
Breaks, tires & rotors $600

...ALL within this year. So I feel your pain!

Could you goto Autozone and buy one of those troubleshooting type books and do the labor yourself, so you just have to buy parts?

That's what I've been doing since I bought by first car.

Saves sooooooooo much money and it's pretty easy too!

The smurffy thing is I almost bought a smurfing honda accord like 45 minutes before I bought this. But I thought I needed a bigger engine for whatever stupid reason. This thing gets a whopping 20MPG in town and like 24-25 on the highway.

Mine has over 100,000 miles and runs great still!

Well my goal was to make it so I only had to replace one axle worth of smurf at a time but I don't trust the older tires to do that now.

Gah! Yeah, I have a Honda Accord and it is a thing of beautiful, and it has a 100,000 mile warranty.

Lesson learned. I also had a Chyrsler and it was a goddamn lemon.

God that sounds like my Aviator. That thing... We had that POS for 6 months. That's it. And put $4k in repairs in that stupid thing. Never did figure out what the main problem was.
