Ive been having the same problem
Got new tires-400
needed chains to get home from Cali-50
new battery-75
replaced serpentine belt-38
new alternator- 100
and currently waiting on pay check to replace power steering pulley which is going to be 13 for the part but I have to rent some tools we dont have thats another 30 bucks.

Well my dad and my friend do the labor for brakes and rotors and I just pay for parts. But my dad lives in Ohio and my friend doesn't have the thing to put tires on rims so I have to pay for that.

My dad just sold his '89 Accord. That thing had 447k miles on it and still ran like a champ!!

I had a 2007 Mazda 3 when I was pregnant with DD. I loved it, but I lived in Alaska. After she was born, I felt so unsafe on the icy roads so I got a 4WD Hyundai Tucson. I liked that too. Then the damn transmission dropped and it was going to take them 6 months to fix. So I traded it in for the stupid Ford Fusion I have now. We went upside down on the stupid smurfing thing, we're paying $500 a month. I miss my Mazda! Lol

Well this is fine mechanically. But ALLLLLLL of the maintenance smurf needs done at once! I love my car but jesus! I want a Pilot! Lol. But I'll likely be moving out of the snowy area so that's pointless.

How did the 3 fit a RF carseat? That's the only thing that would make me go for a 6 instead is the room. But if it's comfortable I'm good with it. Though anything is better than RF in a 2door. Lol

I had her behind my passenger seat. My sister came to visit us and fit in the front seat comfortably if I remember correctly. She's 5'8". It was just DD and I at the time, so I never really paid attention.

Well I hardly ever have anyone in the front seat. If I do, I'm usually at drill so I don't even have seats in my car. Lol. Hmm. Definitely something I'll ponder!!

How the hell does an oil change cost $100?? I pay $20 for mine
