I was never told either, shouldn't the lawsuit be against whoever is responsible for where you live and to check it?
I may be missing something here

ETA: It's not your doctors responsibility to check for carbon monoxide... he can ask you ever appointment but that doesn't change if it's there.

My OBGYN has never asked me that.. but my children's Pediatrician has asked.

And no- I don't believe the doctor would be responsible for just not asking you.. it's your home- you control your own environment.. go buy a detector like everyone does hun!

I've never been asked that and there's nothing legally you could really do about it.

I wasn't asked by my doctor, but it always a good idea to have your heater serviced every two years

Trying to sue a doctor for something he has no control over.   I've had my children's Pedi ask me that, but it's your home and you're responsible for detectors so that in case there was carbon monoxide you'd know so you could get out before too much damage was done.

Did he have to tell you riding in a car is dangerous? crossing the street? being exposed to chemicals? being around people etc.....

YOU are responsible of keeping YOUR house safe from stuff that can hurt your child. He's not required to inform you of anything, if you don't already know what dangers too look out for then that is on YOU.

YOU should be responsible to find out all of the risks when you bring a child into the world. Almost everybody has told you we never got asked either. But I'm betting most people wouldn't sue over something their doctor had no control over :/

Get a detector and calm down... and Carbon Monoxide doesn't just come from heaters & such- YOU need to educate yourself about it, it's not the Doc's responsibility hun...

Bahahaha- did he tell you not to drive either? Did he tell you not to cross the street with out a crossing guard. What about chewing your food so you don't choke. Those are also potential dangers to the baby.
