Eating after tonsil surgery

posted 4th Dec
Should I be worried that my son wants to eat all regular food after he had his tonsils and adenoids removed today? He's acting like nothing ever happened. I guess I should be happy that its going to be a quick recovery.

Should I let him eat what he wants? The doc said he wont want to eat so it wont be a problem but he does.

When I had mine out they MADE me eat proper food!
It's good because it stops a coating building up an therefore prevents infection.
At least that's what they told me!

The pain is the worse with that a few days after. A scab type thing builds up then after a few days it starts to fall off and that is when it hurts.

I would not let him eat things that can "poke" the scab that is trying to build up.
