is this a normal feeling?

I'm 34 weeks and I noticed a few nights ago That I can feel my lo "inhaling" and "exhaling". Sounds weird I know. It feels like it does when you put your hand on your chest and feel your lungs expand and contract. Has anyone else ever felt that? With my son I only felt kicking and punching. with this one I feel every move. fingers, toes, everything.

so im not crazy, ive been having the same feeling too and wasn't sure what it was.

I couldn't really feel it but I could see DS breathing. It was kind of freaky lol but I loved it. And then he would get the hiccups

I think they are practicing by sucking in the fluid. At least that's what I think my doctor said when I was worried about this.

I never felt that, but my daughter did get the hiccups constantly

well at 34 weeks the lungs are not fully developed and cannot fully expand---im not sure what your feeling. They dont inhale and exhale in the way that they do outside the womb

thats kinda cool. I feel hiccups and what not, but thats it, no breathing.
