My DD is so mean! :(

posted 4th Dec
My DD is 11 months old and she's been slapping me in my face, pinching, scratching, biting, ect.
I've tried telling her no, trying to move her attention to something else, taking her hand and rubbing my face, ect.

She will not stop! This has been happening for over a month but its really getting out of control lately.
She busted my lip this morning from slapping me.

What do I do?

My dd is 10 months and slaps and pulls hair but we let her, and even more so when she pulls her sisters hair. lol they love it when she does it and screams at them. lol
My 4 yr old was the same way at that age, and by 1 she was over it. lol

If it were my child I'd probably spank her.

But another option is to set her down and refuse to speak or acknowledge her until she apologizes. Kids hate being ignored, so after a couple of times of doing this, she'll get the picture.

Yeah, I didn't catch the age.

At 11 months I'm going to say it's most likely a stage and she'll grow out of it.

If that was my daughter I would Just say "NO" the first time.

If It continued...I would continue to say "no" and then put her down

If it got to the point, she was out of control...I would pop her hand...after a few times, she would get the picture...
My daughter was doing that at one point...When I finally broke down and popped that hand...she cried.. and gave me a hug. We hugged and I gave her a kiss.
How, if she raises her hand to hit, she stops and thinks about that hand pop and just gives a hug and kiss instead.
*In no way am I suggesting for you are anybody else to pop your child. I was just saying what I did, that worked for me*

AT your daughter's age ( just seen it) I would only do the first 2 things I listed.
It is probably a phase
If she was 2 or older...then I would go to the next step...
For My child..again not saying you should
