Oh crap... Tuna.

I just ate a can of tuna and some whole wheat toast, totally referring that you're not supposed to eat tuna while pregnant. I'm 30 weeks, what could happen to my baby?

Nothing.

Pregnant women can safely eat up to 12 oz. of canned light tuna per week, according to the Environmental Protection Agency. Canned albacore tuna, also referred to as white tuna, contains higher amounts of mercury than canned light tuna. Limit albacore tuna to 6 oz. per week to avoid potentially harmful levels of mercury.

You'll be fine. Nothing bad will happen to the baby.

Its not a big deal to have it once in a while.

You are allowed to eat tuna. I have eaten a lot while pregnant. Just not fresh tuna or shark swordfish. Stuff like that. A can of tuna is ok.

You can eat tuna, just not more than a certain amount; which I forget how much the amount is, but you'd have to eat a lot of it to have a problem.

I was always told that you can have a can a week when preggers. You should be fine

I'm pretty sure you're allowed to eat tuna. I ate a can of tuna and I've had some salmon. I think you just have to limit it. You're not supposed to eat shark or swordfish at all but other types of fish are lower in mercury and so you just can't eat tons of it.

Same here lol. I at a sushi freak and since I trust where the place I go to gets their fresh fish I even ate some semi-raw seared tuna while pregnant. I did stay away from swordfish though.

Idk. I had a baby in August and I'm sure a few more things were added to the list since I had my first child. Egg yolks, and soft serve ice cream? Too bad soft serve ice cream and sushi was my craving lol.

I have had 3 kids and not one dr ever told me never to eat anything. lol
So I dont get all these "not supposed to eat this or that" lol

Mercury is ok for anyone in small doses. lo loves fish (10 months today) but only gets it 1-2 times a month, since 6 months.

Nothing I ate footlong tunas from subway at least once a week when I was pregnant
