Did you get a lot of weird looks and questions and comments about what you were giving your "infant" to eat?

What are you feeding the baby exactly?

I haven't done it yet. But we delay solids for so long and don't do much so nobody ever sees us feed our children. But who cares what others think. I'm sure SOs family will have comments for us but I just ignore it. I dont care really. I don't like what others do with their kids but I shut my mouth.

No but when I visited family for Thanksgiving and was giving my six month old food that wasn't mushed up they all completely freaked out and for the following days everytime I shared food with my baby they made a big dramatic deal over it. Glad I am back home feeding my baby in peace where I don't have to have other peoples old ways shoved down my throat...

No, but my daughter refused solids till about 18months.

What do you mean? Real food either chunked sliced or whole instead of purées.
