Online classes?

Has anyone taken an online English class before? How was it?

Not bad. Just write papers and have discussions.

I have, it wasnt bad just a lot of papers. I didnt have discussion boards at my community college where I took the class so no discussions for me.

I'm taking one write now. We have a weekly discussion board, weekly journal entry and a weekly paper. It's not so bad actually, and I hate English classes.

I took writing which is probably the same. Failed the class, but got As on everything I turned in. Nothing that my teacher ever wanted me to do, aside from writing papers made sense and everything seemed to be scattered all over the place in the online classroom. I recommend going to ratemyprofessor.com and looking at how easy or hard your teacher is before you do it.

I took an online writing class. it was my favorite class of all the ones I took. much more interaction with my instructor and other students than my other classes...

Would an overall rating of a 4.1 be good? Can't go wrong with a Professor Hennessy lol.

IDK how they rate them. I don't have a choice in professors at my University online so I am stuck lol. Read the reviews?

I have had good professors, not so good professors and horrible professors (like the one for my Health Psych class right now) but it is 8-14 weeks depending on the class/school and you are done.

My community college was basically work at your own place so I got most of my classes done in 6-8 weeks with them but there was no peer involvement. My University has participation requirements and are 8 weeks long.

I'd say that's great. 5 is the best. You can see what their overall rating in easiness, clarity, etc. is. After my crappy writing teacher (who I'm pretty sure got like a low 2 or high 1) I won't register with a teacher unless they have good ratings lol.
