What is a good dinner to make for S.O.?

So after 9 months of being apart, he is coming here in a few weeks and i wanna make it an amazing dinner for him, any suggestions?

Does he prefer beef, chicken or pork?

DH's favorite is eggplant parm, so I make that for him every year on his birthday. It's delicious but pretty time-consuming, so he only gets it once a year  

What does he like? My DH loves fajitas

He really isnt picky. He really loves italian food though. He loves shrimp scampi.

If he loves shrimp scampi, I'd make that.

I'd make shrimp spaghetti with a carbonara sauce then homemade bread into round buns.

This meal is delish.

Chicken breast
Italian dressing
Penne pasta
Alfredo sauce
Mozzarella cheese
Roma tomatoes
Basil
1 garlic clove
Olive oil

Marinate your chicken breast in the Italian dressing for 20 minutes. Then grill the chicken.
Boil your pasta

Cut your chicken into cubes. Put the pasta in a casserole dish and pour the Alfredo sauce over. Add chicken and mix it up. Top with mozzarella cheese.

In a bowl, Take the tomatoes (4) and cut them up. Add a teaspoon of basil and 6 table spoons of olive oil, and the finely chopped garlic clove. Mix together for a bruchetta.

Put your bruchetta mixture on top of your pasta and add more cheese. Bake on 350 until cheese is melted and dish is completely warm.

SO good with salad and breadsticks!

You're welcome! I'm sure you could substitute The chicken with shrimp, or even make him some on the side as well. It's one of my favorit recipes!! I don't care for the tomato part, and its even good without.

Also, if you're not a big garlic fan, use half of a clove. The first time I made it I did use the bruchetta, and for my husband it was a little too much garlic, but he's not a big garlic eater anyway.
