re: Uhhh is this right? (Uncirced Question)

Different doctors have different beliefs if you never pull it back it will become "stuck" and can cause infection. Did your son cry when he did it

I would definitely file a complaint and make sure yo only schedule appts with his regular pedi. Also at his next appointment ask his pedi how he/she feels about uncircd penis' and how he/she recomends taking care of them.

I would complain and get a second opinion to back you up.

No you don't pull the foreskin back. Your dr did this? Wow.
If he didn't cry or anything don't stress about it, just leave it alone

Um, no. The foreskin is naturally fused to the head of the penis. It doesn't get "stuck".

Don't give people advice when you obviously have no clue what you're talking about.

This! My sons are circumcised but while I was still deciding I looked into all options and if they are not circumcised you leave the foreskin alone.

Well he was already crying before he pulled it back so I'm not sure if he cried because of it or if he was still crying from before.

I am DEFINITELY going to complain..that is not cool..

Some would say to leave it alone, but I would e-mail or call the clinic, and be sure to never see that pediatrician again.

Until the foreskin retracts on it's own, it should never be forced back. It is fused to the head of the penis, much like your fingernail is fused to the end of your finger.

I wouldn't raise a HUGE stink since this is the first time it's happened. I'd probably call and let them know that's what happened and the doctor should know that's not what you do so he doesn't do it to other boys.
And definitely, next time you go in, remind them "my son is intact, don't retract his foreskin".

Umm, yeah. You should not be giving ignorant advice. You clearly don't know much of anything regarding uncircumcised penises.

I was taught to pull it back super gently. Just to make the skin flat so you can wipe it/wash it in the bath.

Just to pull the wrinkles flat. kwim?
