Difficult temperament?!

posted 4th Dec
Does anyone have a toddler or young kid who has a difficult temperament? My son has a really difficult temperament. He is strong willed, super smart, really needy, and opinionated. I swear he sucks all the energy out of me and I feel bad for my daughter. Some days I feel like exploding from the inside out. I am becoming increasingly resentful. He requires so much energy out of me...

Anyone else? How do you deal?!?!

Yes. My oldest. I don't know. I think I was about one week away from commiting suicide before he went to school. That has helped tremendously. Seriously.

He goes to school 3 days a week from 8-2 but I don't feel like that is enough! I feel so guilty and terrible for saying that and for being so frustrated, annoyed, and resentful, but I'd rather recognize how I feel in order to find a solution.

Eli has been in school all semester. 5 days a week... and we're noticing some behavioral issues that aren't changing so we have an apt with his doctor tomorrow .... I'm not trying to diagnose my son... But his father does have ADD... so idk if it's that or just an active almost 4 yr old... or what... we're going to figure things out. He is sometimes completely out of control and not a bad kid... just so hyper... and no, taking him outside for 2 hours a day will not get him worn out.. sure it lets energy out.. that's why we let him play outside for hours.. but he is still soooooooooooooooo energetic and just off the walls.... idk what to do . My other son is completely different.

frustrated. sad. disappointed in myself. angry. irritated... bad (for feeling like all I ever do is get on to him and bad because it takes away from happy time with the kids and my other son, Beau, suffers b/c I get mad easier when I'm fed up)...
