re: In labor at 38 weeks

I literally almost punched the nurse after my first baby...they didn't even tell me what they were doing. Just came over and started doing it. I'm shocked I didn't manage to actually hit her.

i was in labor for 14 hours... i was sleep for most of it.. but when those contractions came... wooooo lol... now Im jealous because youre in labor and im not!.. Im 39 weeks tomorrow... ughhhhhh good Luck mama and congrats!!!  

My first labor was 42 hours. 3 1/2 hours of pushing. Contractions suck but just wait for the ring of fire!!

And no I never miss pregnancy. I miss being able to protect my baby all the time because they were on the inside and I missed my belly, but I NEVER miss being pregnant.

Yea I was miserable the whole time and when I went into labor I was like "YES!! Its almost over!" But I've missed it ever since. And now I have some extreme baby fever going on lol.

She told me she was going to push on my belly a little. I grabbed her arm and dug my claws in lol she said "can you take your hand off me?" I felt so bad i kept apologizing but it just happened i couldnt stop myself. It hurt so bad.

yes that was so painful! not as painful as the contractions, but still. i bled a lot after delivery so the nurse spent 20 mins or so right after kneading my stomach. and then every so often the rest of the time i was there. my stomach was so sore

Jeez I was going to respond to each post but its so many responses and I'm in so much pain lol but I thank you all for your feedback. I'm just ready to be done and to have my son

Good luck hun! I had two super fast labors (1hr 46 mins and 36 mins!)

I think I was too excited to finally have my kiddos to be sad over the pregnancy ending lol!

How is everything Op? Did you had your baby yet?

Thanks, but I already had him lol. My labor lasted about 29 hours. Brutal!
