time flew by.

I went to my appointment today, everything looks great. My pregnancy flew by. This monday they will be checking my cervix for dilation, if i am over 2 cm i will be getting induced on wednesday! If im not dilated, my induction will be next monday. Im being induced because he is measuring big and i have gestational diabetes. I would rather not take any chances of him getting too big and getting stuck. The reason for waiting if im not dilated this monday is because they said inducing with no progress would be setting me up to have a c-section, and we dont want that, but they will not let me go over 40 weeks. Im still hoping he will come on his own before that, but having a date that he will for sure be here by is exciting.

Its coming up soooo fast. Its kind of scary. Im terrified, and feeling unprepaired. I am so ready to hold him though. I cant wait.

I agree. My baby is already almost 5 months old..   I feel like I was just in the hospital having him.. I didn't know being induced with no progress would set you up for a c-section though.. I had to be induced at 0cm because my water broke 12 hours prior and I hadn't progressed any on my own..

They said that it would be higher risk for a c-section. Plus it might have been different for you because your water broke on its own. My doc will probably have to break mine.
