Outgrown clothes

posted 4th Dec
What did you do with the clothes your LO outgrew? Were you planning on having another?

I was thinking of keeping my favourite outfits and selling/giving away the rest... But then I thought, what if I have a boy next time? I'd have nothing. Maybe I should keep the unisex stuff I have, so that I'd have a little starter pile...

So, what worked for you?

We have like 5 boxes of baby clothes. We're undecided on wether we're having another or not. I always planned on having another, so that's why we've kept everything. If we don't get pregnant in the next year, I think I'll probably get rid of it all, just to have some space back. It's not really an issue for us if we have to re buy everthing.

I saved a few things here and there just for me even if we never have another. I sold the rest.

I've saved pretty much everything. It came in handy, because some friends of ours had an incident at their house and lost all their baby clothes, and I had plenty lying around.

I kept my favorites and gave away and sold the rest. I am having a boy now after my girl so 98% of them aren't going to do me any good lol. But I am still saving them- we plan on having a third sometime.

my son is 13 months..i have Kept EVERYTHING of his. everything. lol. Most of it is in the attic at my dads house until we get our basement up to par. If we have a boy next we will be set, and if its a girl..theres still alot of unisex to pick thru. I just cant throw anything away..knowing i'll need it again when we have another baby, whenever that will be, we arent sure yet.

I keep my favourites from my oldest, I give the others to my sister.
Then when my youngest is done with all her clothes I split them up - a pile for my sister, my SIL, and salvation army. .... I hate when my kids grow out of their clothes
