I'm not sure, but I have friends that have it and like it, and they haven't gained weight on it.

I did depo for the first 3 months. All my hair fell out. I was never doing an IUD again and I knew i wanted the ring back when I was done BFing so the pill with condom back up it was.

I hate the depo, worst bc ever. It works really well but also affects your body so it's almost not worth it, I gained 50 lbs   took over a 2 years to lose it

Implanon can cause alot of weight gain though. I gained 40lbs on it over the 3years and I'm a pretty healthy eatter and also work out. Also a lot of other people on here have gained a ton as well.

Ahhhh no!!! I need to lose weight lol I have over 40 lbs still to lose   I'm thinking I'm gonna be fat forever. I got to be skinny one time in my life for a year and that's it. :,(

Im changing to the paragard. It's a non hormonal bc however its a iud. I was scared at first but reading about it really made me want it. I also need to loss weight so I don't want any extra hormones in my body.
