Is she okay? Feel like smurf :(

Any time I've read about a baby falling off the bed, I've wondered how it could happen- my DD will never fall off the bed!
But she did. I feel like smurf. I have no idea how she managed it. She was in the middle of the bed, I went to pull a tub out from under the bed, then 5 seconds later I looked up in time to see her hit the floor. She must have decided to go rolling, which shes never done before.
She started screaming, but calmed after a couple of minutes. Now she's gone for a snooze. She wasn't obviously hurt and didn't hit her head, but could she be injured that I can't see? Should I take her to the hospital to have her checked out?
She's 9 months.

It happens.. Macie did it twice. Once when she was around 8 months, then again when she was a bit older. It tore my nerves all to pieces.

She's fine.

As long as she doesn't start throwing up she should be good, throwing up indicates head trauma

My daughter rolled off the bed at around that age.
It happens.

My son fell off the bed about 4 times until he learned how to crawl off or wait for me to get him. I felt really awful each time but he was fine I just watched him to make sure everything was OK.

Don't feel bad; it happens to almost everyone. If you look through my old posts, you'll see one almost identical to this one. It has no reflection on you as a parent.
I would just keep an eye on her for the next couple hours. If she starts acting weird, throwing up, isn't moving one of her limbs a lot, or one of them begins to swell and bruise, then I would take her in. Babies don't usually get hurt from these things, though, because they don't know that they are about to hit the ground, so they don't tense up.

I work with a pediatrician. As long as she did not throw up and was acting normal when she calmed down she's probably fine. Try waking her after she's been asleep for 30-45 mins and make sure she actually wakes up with no trouble. I'm sure she's ok.

I didn't think it would happen to my son either but it did and he was fine, didn't even cry after I picked him up lol. She will be fine. Just watch for abnormal behavior like throwing up.
