no then id say your nephew is tiny the average size of a female 4 year old is 35 lbs. the average of a 6 year old boy is 46 lbs. Theres a average height to weight chart thingy. My daughter just turned 7 yesterday and she is like 50lbs

well ya that can happen once they become more active the baby fat will wear off and they thin out. but 36 lbs at 6 years old for a boy is small. but i mean probably not unheard of. Im no doctor though haha

i know clothing sizing is crazy. My daughter used to be like that all the waists were huge but the length was short, so we always had to buy the pants with the built in belts. But shes finally got to the point where she doesnt always need the belt anymore. whoever makes kids clothes obviosuly never had a kid themselves

Thanks ladies. I know all babies are different and she is probably fine but I needed some reassurance. Im thinking she is probably burining a lot more calories because she is VERY active! She is always on the go, crawling around, pulling up and walking around everything. I should mention too that we do not have a pedi anymore. Her pedi sold her practice to another dr and that's who we have now. When I took DD in he mentioned having to ask his Pedi friend! I did not know he wasnt a pedi until he said that
