You have plenty of time before you are due, I understand that you are frustrated, but I wouldn't be upset that he wants to go.

The thing with these fishing trips is they are sun up till sun down. He goes far out into the ocean so whose to say he'll have service? I mean I have my mom 10 minutes down the road so I do have a back up plan obviously. This whole pregancy just seems to mean nothing to him. He hasn't been to one appt, and lately all he does is work and play.

I work and take care of our responsibilities.

Yeah, and I think it could happen to anyone, regardless to prior experiences too. Each labor is different for each pregnancy. We definitely didn't expect my son to come that fast, but he did. My fist labor was quick, but not far from normal (5 hours) so you just never know what may happen.

As long as it's this weekend i think you should be ok, have you had any signs of pre term labor or have you been a low risk? You should have a plan B just in case.

I would be so pissed. Some people just don't understand labor. It doesn't always happen ON your due date, it CAN happen before and sometimes it goes fast. DD was born almost a week early. My SO at the time(not the father) didn't believe me when I told him I was in labor, because it wasn't my due date. Then he came over and was like, Oh smurf. Please don't have a baby on me.

And it's not just like you can call him and he'll come home. You might not be able to get ahold of him. I would be putting my foot down.

Saturday. I know I have weeks left and could even go past. My kinda thinking though is YOU NEVER KNOW. Nobody can be sure as to when labor will come. And i'v been having lots of cramping, contractions and pressure. I have an appt today though.
