toddler formula/milk questions...

Is there a difference between normal formula and toddler formula? We just started buying DD toddler formula instead of normal similac advance, just curious if there is a difference? Also did you give your LO toddler formula? How long did you give it to them before switching 100% to cows milk? How did you wean off the formula? Did you put poly-vi-sol in the milk?

Anyways, we just switched to cow's milk by adding little by little to his cup and he didn't mind the change at all. By 11 1/2 months he pretty much laughed at formula because he preferred big people food so that's what he ate.
