idk what to do!?!

So my friend (not close one but a friend from childhood) just got dumped by her bd and now she has to find some where for her and her daughter to live. I just know I'm going to get stuck bring them in! Honestly I really don't want to but she has no one else. Her mother is with the man that molested her granddaughter so needless to say they are not on talking terms. Her father was never around and now he has passed away. No other family in this area. She doesn't work and has the mind of a 15yr old. I just know she's going to be asking to stay with me. If I say yes I will never her get her out of my home! I'm so torn! I know I can't let her be homeless but do I want to pretty much take on 2 kids since she is like another child.

I wouldnt let her stay with you, but maybe you can help by taking her to social services, and get her on aid and homeless help. Here, women can get money for a hotel, and cah aid, and food stamps if they are homeless. They will also help her get a job or go to school. I think that would be the most helpful to her stuation while not putting too much strain on your own.

That's a good idea. It would kind of make her have to grow up. She's only lived with parents, hers or her bfs. Shesnever had to take care of herself.

I am one of those who will never let a child go homeless. Even if you were my worse enemy. Maybe let her stay but also go to social services and get them to help her? Good luck!!

That's my issue is there is a child involed. I let one of my friends live with me and she did nothing to better herself. it just ended horribly! I had to kick her out.

You need to put down rules and enforce them!! ...

The state wont let her be homeless either, because their is a baby involved.
