Due date calculator based on the day you had sex?

A friend of mine has a question. She tested positive via home test last night, and is wanting to calculate when her due date would be. Because her periods are not regular, she doesn't remember when her last menstrual period was but knows the exact date when she had sex. Are there any due date calculators you recommend that go off of the date of intercourse?

Go by date of conception

I dont think so... But you can do date of conception. I did that with my youngest son.

Not that I know of. Sperm can live up to 5 days inside of a woman's body so due date according to date of intercourse is likely to not be accurate.

I would go off that for now until they do an u/s. Do you have a date of conception I can figure it out for her.

Not always. I can have sex one day and conceive another two or three days along the lie, but it's a close estimate.

Ultrasound is the only way for me to get a due date.

No sperm can live inside a women anywhere from 5-7 days conception could have happen at any time a few minutes from having sex to a week later.

Not really. It could be any where between 0-5 days. She should just wait until she can go to the doctor for her due date ultrasound.

Like the others are saying sperm can live awhile in the right environment, so it could have happened right away or 5 days later depending when you O'd. You could go with a time frame of could be this date to this date until you get your u/s to know an actual date.

Her friend doesn't know her last period date, she has irregular periods. It says that right in the OP.

Dating the pregnancy by the day you had sex would be the closest to date of conception, but not entirely accurate. It would give you a decent guess, within a week, of when the due date is, though. A dating ultrasound would give a more accurate date
