Congrats   I had my first in exactly 4 and half hours from waters breaking to delivery!

Majority of my friends have had theirs break on its own. I only know of two people that had to have theirs broken.
And why would someone not be truthful about it lol?

Wow! Yours went fast! My friend had a fast delivery too. She said she couldn't get anything for the pain cause it went so fast and the dr wasn't even there for the delivery, it went to fast. She said it was super traumatizing. She hopes that never happens again.

Mine was 12 almost 13 hours from water breaking to delivery. They told me that I could spend 12 hours pushing. They said that I just thought, uh hell NO! I am not gonna sit here and push him for that long! We're getting him out now! Lol. Gave me motivation to push harder, cause I did not wanna have to push and be in pain for 12 hours! Got him out in 2! When they said it had been an hour and a half, I didn't even realize it. Lol. (That's when they told me to stop pushing cause the dr wasn't here yet.) The next day I found out the cord was wrapped around his neck and he was purple looking, but he started crying shortly after he was out and they suctioned out his airway.

Most babies come out purple/blue looking though, and all babies need their airway suctioned

Yh I was suprised how quick it went, but had my son at 37 weeks, was a meconium delivery so maybe thats why it was quick, I don't know. When I got to the hosp i was already 4cm dilated (20 mins after waters breaking), then 6cm, then 9cm. I had to be cut, and ventouse used to get my son out, but it happened so quick. I'm now 38 weeks, and still waiting. Had 9 hours of irregular contractions last night, that just went to nothing
