Is it normal?

Is it normal for a toddler to have a runny nose and cough for almost 2 weeks straight now? I'm talking full on runny nose, clear not mucousy or anything but just constantly running without or without medicine? His cough is getting much better but his nose is still the same. He had a fever for the first 2 days but nothing ever since. He has been acting and eating just fine. He's 2.5 and has not been sick this long before. Does this sound like a normal cold that will pass or something I should be more concerned about?

I know he was for sure sick but now it feels like this sickness is dragging on. He does get allergies from time to time but nothing ever lasted this long.. usually only 1-3 days and he's back to normal.

maybe its because he is because of his allergies that his sickness is dragging on. I'd take him to the doctors just to be safe because that is alone time to be sick for anyone. Not to scare you, but he could have pneumonia.
