weight has nothing to do with healthy or not.

Babies of diabetic moms can be very large, and underdeveloped. They gain weight, but that doesnt' mean they're the same developmentally as another baby of the same weight

I wouldn't necessarily say that's enough for high calorie formula (but I'm sure there was another good reason).. but yes... the days do matter.

If we have a baby at 11 pm... and mom turns 37 weeks at midnight... we have to treat baby like preterm and do carseat trial

her oxygen dropped when i was breastfeeding her. even though my milk didnt come in yet for some reason when she was sucking her oxygen levels went to like 70. a few times... hospital wanted to keep her but my sister told the nicu doc that she'd stay home with me and monitor... shes a anesthesiologist...and they agreed to let her come home.

I'm not trying to be snarky here ....but don't you think that's pertinent information to your question?

weight has nothing to do with it. Baby doesn't tolerate the WORK of eating... so to make a feeding shorter.. but still get in required calories... doc wants her on high calorie food.

It's normal for your child to lose 6-12 ounces a few days after birth. If I was OP and this concerned, I would be asking more questions to the medical staff about it.

Well my son lost 8 ounces, and all was well. So yes, it can happen.
