ovulating twice, but no period?

is this possible?

I am 8 months PP, so I am extremely confused by my new body. I thought I knew all my signs and symptoms to a t, but not sure now.

my last period was oct. 17, and by my symptoms I ovulated nov.5- CD 20. Which is late for me usually, but I know what my symptoms are telling me.

It is now 28dpo, and I have been getting the same ovulation signs again for the past 3 days, leading me to believe I will ovulate 2moro- exactly a full normal cycle later. But with no period.

I am confused because I thought that if you ovulate, that dictates you cycle length, therefore bleeding will sure follow around 14 days later. I should have gotten my period 2 weeks ago if i am ovulating now lol

Your cycles could be off.

I am 10 mos. PP with no period (breastfeeding). I have had ovulation type feelings as well as period/pregnant type feelings. Negative tests= confusion. I am in the same boat. No idea what's going on with my body. I take it with a grain of salt.

You can have ovulation signs without actually ovulating. That's probably what happened.

You normally ovulate 2 weeks before your period (not the other way around). Your body could have tried to ovulate but it didn't happen. That's what happened to me the last cycle. It tried to ovulate, didn't happen. Tried again and I got my period 2 weeks later.
