What should I do?

Well GL to ya. I had the loss of my plug yesterday and I called my ob office today to tell them (I wasn't worried or anything) Just figured they would jot it down in my chart so I could be checked but the receptionist says it's no big deal. Mind you, this is the same lady who diagnosed me over the phone with a UTI and told me how to treat it. Yeah, I went to the ER that day and had 2 different infections neither of which were a UTI. But anyways, I went to the bathroom tonight, everything was normal, but when I came in my room and sat on my bed, I felt like I peed a lil... : / Had to go change. Then I started getting really bad hot flashes, nausea, been having the poops for 4 days now, head and back aches, and finally BH's. Any thoughts? I am a lil over 33 weeks...

I would go to the hospital, that's too many different issues at once to not be something. Also if you call the doctors office and get that useless person again, demand to speak to someone else.

Sounds all normal end of pregnancy stuff to me. Loosing your plug really means nothing my doctor never even bothered to document it.

I am trying to lay down for a half hour to see if when I stand anything happens. I agree with the useless receptionist. Only bad thing is, my ob's office is always busy. He's checked me vaginally once when I was about 20 weeks. He seems useless too!

Um they dont check you every visit. It can cause an infection or irritate the cervix and actually cause pre-term labor. There is no reason to check you unless you are having a problem or in labor.

I think they were talking about the fact that she diagnosed me over the phone and was completely wrong. She didn't even try to listen to the rest of my symptoms and rushed me off the phone. That's why I went to ER. This was about 3 months ago.

Thats really all they do. Pee in a cup, check weight, blood pressure, measure belly, check heartbeat, see ya later. If you feel he doesnt care for his patients then find a new doctor.

I've tried. No one will take me this late. He doesn't measure my belly. Oh and I lost 2 pounds! lol Idk how but I did. Anywho, I guess I will get some sleep and see how I feel tomorrow. I tried taking a shower but it didn't help any. Just wish I didn't have a stuffy nose now... sigh lol I didn't have any of this with the other 2!

Exactly.

Thanks for the opinions. My husband was more worried than me considering we have 2 kids, one car, and he's at work an hour away.... Yeah that's why I ask questions.

have you asked the doctor about it? Are you voicing your concerns? Is there another doctor in the practice you could see?

Just him there, I've mentioned my concerns. On Thanksgiving I passed out doing the dishes. Scared the hell outta me. He said it's b/c I was standing there too long... I was there for all of 15 minutes. haha w/e, he's the doctor. Told me to not do dishes or go to the grocery store! lol yeah right.
