Day 1: To DH: Honey, could you please take DD so I can get a break?
DH: I'm tired, I'm about to go to bed.

Day 15: To DH: I need to go to the store, keep DD so I can just get a break.
DH: I was getting ready to take a shower.

Day 365: To DH: Goddammit, I just want a break from cleaning up after DD and dishes and smurf. I'm going to explode. Can you just take her for like 5 minutes!!!!!!!! (exploding on him)

DH: Honey, if you felt that why, why didn't you just say something?

            

I just wanna smack him!

I know people always say violence is not the answer...but this might be an exception.

I would! I've already warned mine that if he didn't help when I obviously need/ask for it, he's getting a slap upside his head. He helped make him he helps clean him. That's the deal!

My SO is the same way, but his excuse his that he works longer hours than me, that he deserves his rest! Wow! We BOTH wake up at 4 in the morning. I might be lazy the first couple hours, but I clean this whole, as soon as he gets home I go to my job, come home at 10 to a HUGE MESS! Then on my days off he wants to say that. My gosh! I wants to kick him in his face when he says it! Lol

It must be a man thing because my DH does that sometimes. I've gotten much better at, "I'm going to the store. I'll be back in about an hour. The kiddo is in her room. Bye!" Then, I leave before he can protest.

Mine isn't just that. I'm a SAHM so I don't mind but we just got a new puppy for DD for Christmas and I'm dealing with her, the puppy's potty training, and cleaning and laundry, and the end of the quarter is coming up at school and I have had papers due. While I was cooking dinner and he was watching TV, he yells to me that the dog is peeing on the floor. "Hurry! Get him!"

Mother smurfer, I'm busy. You see the dog taking a piss, STOP HIM!

I swear to God.

He does this when we fight too.

Me: "You aren't spending time with me."
Him: "Yes I am"

This goes on and on for weeks. Then I bring it up again VERY upset and he goes "you should have told me."

Mother smurfer, I did 1,000 times!

The point of this post was more that you tell them something that pisses you off a thousand times and then when you lose your smurfing mind, they pull out the "why didn't you tell me?"

Are they deaf?

I have sleeping problems and have so much trouble getting to sleep. I actually got to bed by midnight tonight, verses the 4 or 5 am it usually is. anyway I heard our dd wake up crying and I asked him to get up with her, he said "you do it, you are used to sleepless nights" so yea now I'm wide smurfing awake and I can hear him snoring I wanna go wrap a plastic bag around his head and suffocate his mean ass!!

Yes. And it's only been 5 weeks. It took me bursting into tears and saying "Smurf it, I may as well move out, I'm doing everything my smurfing self anyway!" (I had a cluster feeding 3 week old in the middle of a growth spurt and hadn't slept in days, while still having to do all the housework coz everyone else was too lazy to) and he was like, "Babe, if you needed help you should have said something". I'd been saying I was feeling overwhelmed for days before I lost it, and he'd just hold LO until he started crying then he'd go "oh he's hungry babe, feed him"   Grrr

Hahah Yes!! ALLL THE TIME! I hate it when he goes "oh you seem stressed how can i help?"
I just list off EVERYTHING I have asked him to help with in the past 3 hours lol!

It usually takes me blowing up on Dh for him to get the hint as well. Men.
