Contracting.

hi all!!

I've been contracting for about 6 hours now, no water broken yet, but they are getting a little too painful and close to each other, I really dont know if I should go to L&D or wait a little longer

How close? Are they consistent? If they are 5 or less minutes apart and coming very consistent head to the hospital if they are too painful. You could wait until they are 2-3 minutes apart though

Personally-I wait until I can't handle the pain anymore. I have REALLY long labors (28 hours and 33 hours) and would rather be at home where I can eat/drink/walk/shower ect then be stuck in a hospital. My hospital is an hour away but I still waited.

My hospital told me 3-4 min apart, lasting 1 min for at least 1 hour before coming in.

hey are about 10-15 mins apart, very painful, but my hospital is over an hour away so im not sure about waiting till they are 2 or 3 mins apart.

10-15 min apart is not close enough and you will most likely be sent home.

My hospital told me 4-5 minutes apart lasting 1 minute for at least an hour before coming in. I also waited until I couldn't handle the pain anymore. And also I was bleeding heavily before going in.

I would say maybe 5-10 minutes. Since your hospital is over an hour away.

I had the same drive. I was still in the hospital from 7:30pm until 5am when little miss was born.
