Getting pregnant after the pill

A friend of mine is trying to get pregnant, she is now off her birth controll pills for about two weeks. She has gotten a few different times lengths. How long did it take you to get pregnant once you got off the pill?

I got pregnant by having sex then being off of the pill for 3 days after that. Just my luck. I know people who get pregnant the month after. I also know people who couldn't get pregnant until a year+ being off of the pill.
