Have just had a check up and doctor checked my cervix, and said its almost completely effaced. He is sending me for a scan first thing in the morning to check for funneling and has said if there is any they will admit me to hospital then and there, if there is no funneling I have to be on bed rest at home anyway. What do you all think my chance is of getting to 37 weeks? Im only 30 weeks 2 days at this point. Has anyone else had this sort of thing and made it to atleast 37 weeks? I really want my girl to be healthy and ready and now is just way too early. Thanks for any replies..

Yes. After 2-3cm at 27 weeks, actual labor at 34 weeks bring me to 6cm, I was induced at 39 weeks. I had a cervical length of 1.4 cm which apparently reversed to about 2.8 enabling me to go home the first time. The second time, my cervix went from fully effaced to 50%. The ONLY thing they had to do was break my water and things went very quickly from there. THERE IS HOPE!
