Have just had a check up and doctor checked my cervix, and said its almost completely effaced. He is sending me for a scan first thing in the morning to check for funneling and has said if there is any they will admit me to hospital then and there, if there is no funneling I have to be on bed rest at home anyway. What do you all think my chance is of getting to 37 weeks? Im only 30 weeks 2 days at this point. Has anyone else had this sort of thing and made it to atleast 37 weeks? I really want my girl to be healthy and ready and now is just way too early!

were you dilated?

I went into preterm labor at 19 weeks. I was dilated to a 1 from 30 weeks until 35 weeks when he checked me again at 35 weeks and I was a 3. I was on strict bedrest. I went to 41 weeks when I had her

I haven't been through this, but you & baby are in my thoughts.

thank you all so much, Doc said im slighty dialated however that can be normal as this is my 3rd baby, he is more worried about how short it is and my cramping which is why he is getting the scan done tomorrow.

I went in to preterm labour and nobody thought I would make it to 37 weeks let alone 40. I am know over due.

Same with both of my viable pregnancies. With my first I went to 41 weeks with my second I sadly only went to 32 weeks.
