vegetarian/vegans

I want to cut out meat for sure...just thinking about the gross things in it and the way the animals were tortured. My question is, should I just do it all and go vegan? What do your meals consist of if you are vegetarian or vegan?

No idea, but just wanted to wish you luck! I couldn't stick to no meat lol

My sister is vegetarian. We were really surprised to know that most cheese's arent vegetarian friendly as they contain enzymes made from animal stomachs (gross I know!) so you'll have to look into what brands of cheese you can and cannot eat.
I am not vegetarian but I really like the morning star crumbles used in things like tacos, lasagna, hamburger helper, etc The morning star burgers are also really good, especially if you put them in a pan with teriyaki sauce, grill some pineapple and put swiss cheese on a burger mm

Don't go vegan unless you are ok giving up dairy and eggs. I love cheese. I don't eat meat and don't drink dairy milk. But no way will I give up cheese! Make sure going vegan is for sure what you want before you start it. I know people that tried being vegan for a few months decided it wasn't for them but then got really sick reintroducing dairy.

Vegetarians really only cut out meat eggs etc.. animals foods. (I'm pretty sure)
Vegans (my sister is vegan) cut out everything from their life that has been tested by animals, used on animals and animals products, foods etc. EVERYTHING.

I was a vegetarian for 4 years before I got pregnant. Then when I got pregnant I started craving sweet and sour chicken from a chinese restaurant. Lol so it pretty much ended.
But when I was vegetarian, I ate all of the morning star products! They are delicious! They have a tomato basil veggie burger that tastes like pizza. I would highly recommend substituting their meatless products for your meals with meats. They are my favorite brand of vegetarian foods. I still eat their products more than real meat now.

I'm vegan, but on a slightly stricter level. I don't eat meat, eggs, fish, dairy (except goat milk products produced on my grandparent's farm- I know the living conditions), anything with yeast, bacteria infused yogurt, or bee products. I also don't eat any root vegetables (potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots) or fruits and veggies that kill the whole plant (lettuce, cabbage, etc).
I eat a ton of beans, lentils, vine fruits, tree fruits, and vine vegetables. I love rice and usually go through 10+ lbs of it a month. I make my own vegan breads, desserts, and meals. It's a lot easier once you get the hang of it. I have also cut out 90% of premade/frozen/prepared foods from my diet (can't give up the soda!).

I'm a vegan, I have been for two years. I have been a vegatrain for 5. It's easy I love the way I feel and never will go back. I would start slow, and be careful of all the fake meat products they are filled with additives.

Well make sure you getting things that arent gmo make sure if you are vegetarian that your eggs are free range and (seed fed). I feel like Vegans over-all make healthly choices because they dont indulge on carbs (that was my problem while being a veggie) but you need to be careful of not sending your system into shock. If you like meat why just not buy meat from animals that are not inhumanly euthanize, look for free range grass fed organic meats, I buy meats from local farm that are just miles up the coast from my home.
