That same thing helps me
I don't know if it's the same during pregnancy, but it's usually because you need more potassium.

I get this almost every night. Eat more bananas, drink more water. Also, drinking tonic water is supposed to help, but I've yet to try that. Leg cramps are often caused by low potassium. I had one so bad when I was 7 months pregnant with my oldest daughter my mom thought I was in labour.

omg!! that would make sense!!!
I have no dairy! milk, yogurt, bananas... all of that makes my excessive saliva/mucus really really bad and increases the vomiting. So i stopped eating it all!

its because you're low on potassium, time to start eating some bananas! One a day should make it go away

other then that, the best position to make it go away is to put your feet flat on the floor and lean into the wall as if you're going to do push ups against the wall. You want to have enough lean so that your calf muscles are stretching out or the charlie horse wont go away. Point your toes in the air. It will make it better, also try to rub it out afterwards.

I was getting them really bad but after we stocked up on bananas they've pretty much stopped. I'd definately try to get some more potassium in your diet.

My OB told me to take calcium with magnesium. A few days after I started taking them the snarliest horses stopped happening. And flexing your foot instead of pointing your toes helps too
