Anybody use Mirena IUD or nuva ring?

nope no period with mirena but that makes it good

nuva ring kept falling out =/ and you have to insert it yourself... not very fun

I hated Nuvaring. Made me break out horribly. I've almost been off of it for a year and my skin is so scarred up from how badly it made me break out. They weren't normal zits, they hurt like a bitch. I couldn't even lay on my stomach because if my face touch the pillow, it was like my pillow was made out of razor blades. It also made my boobs hurt and my periods were horrible.

But then how do you know you're not pregnant....??? lol.

Did you have any symptoms at all from it? I had a bloody discharge for a little while but that was it. It's stopped now I think

mirena is in a T shape and they insert it the two t lines to block your tubes.. mirena is hormonal so its blocking your tubes PLUS sending hormones to make you not ovulate pretty much. your pretty safe with that.

i know people who have gotten pregnant on the paraguard which is the mirena but with no hormones and you can have it in for longer.. yeaaa no lol

Hm. I just think it sounds easier than the pill and that nuvaring does sound pretty inconvenient and horrible lol.

yea. it hurts getting the iud in.. but its only like a minute of pain n its not THAT bad. i would recommend it
