overdue/ baby position

posted 3rd Dec
I think she is posterior. Can that make me go overdue? How do i get her to turn anterior... advice? If she doesnt rotate, she will most likely turn during labor right?

My little one was posterior when he came out. They had to cut me and use the vacuum to get him out. He also had the cord around his neck though.

Abigail was anterior during most of my labor and then she turned posterior. My doctor was actually telling me how her being anterior would help me push her and then she flipped. Thanks, child. lol

My LO was posterior, I bounced on a swiss ball, and spent as much time on all fours as possible, it worked. But she also had to be vacumed out, they didnt cut me though, I only sustained a little first degree tear.

One of my doctors was telling me to keep your spine above your belly and that it would help the baby be in the right position. ex. lean forward against the wall in the shower. get down on all fours ect.

They can usually feel the position of the baby when they feel your belly

If you feel kicks in the front of your belly by your belly button that is posterior. You can also tell by feeling your belly. normally if it doesnt feel smooth but bumpy and you can distinguish limbs then that is posterior.
