I genuinely feel bad for posting this thread though! I posted it anticipating people would get a good laugh at my phobia. I agree it is a rather stupid thing to be afraid of. I think I am legitimately traumatized from last night's experience though.

What's weird though. We had someone here on Friday who was working on our plumbing. Since our water tap was clogged, they switched it out for us and gave us a brand new one.

I don't get how the spider got in there in the first place. I mean even if it crawled during the switch, it was big enough to where it would have been noticeable.

Nope, we have one of those water thingy's on the fridge.  

Sometimes I actually do prefer tap water though. Mainly because it is closer to room temp. I am still (even after the hype from last night has subsided) absolutely terrified of putting my hands under that faucet.
