I would wait, there must be a serious reason your OB is having you c-section instead of labor.

I had no idea OB's booked a c-section at 40 weeks....I always thought it was 38-39 weeks.

Please don't be selfish with your child's life. There is a reason the baby has not come yet on their own yet, it's probably because he/she is not ready.

Why are you gettin a c-section?

Why are you scheduled? Are you trying to induce to start a natural birth? Or an earlier c-section?

because i was not able to fully dilate with my first.....
