red streaked spit up? advice?
posted 3rd Dec
My ds is 13 weeks and got his vaccinations today. He got them around 9:30 AM. He's been fussy all day (normal im aware). I gave him some Tylenol around 5 PM (almost 5 hours ago) and he's ate twice since. About two hours ago my husband noticed that he's spitting up red streaked milk. He's spitting up a lot too. I realize the spit up is pretty normal as well, im just wondering what the red is? Is it still Tylenol after nearly 5 hours? He did get his oral vaccine (I can't remember which one!!!!)
*Do not judge me. Vaccinating my child is my choice and I feel its i'm his best interest. I have done my research so snoody comments will be ugnoelred as im asking a serious question*

I would think its the tylenol if youre not using the dye free kind.

Normally I do but this was prescribed by his doctor.

It may be the tylenol, but if you are worried you can call an advice nurse.

I know lol. Just saying I normally use dye free so I have no idea how long Tylenol would hang around in his belly. This stuff was ted and thick

I would say from the tylenol...the tylenol itself has probably worked its way through but I'm sure that dye can stick around a while.
Didn't your son just get out of the hospital, though?

Yes he had a nasty stomach flu that made him quit eating.

I remember your son being really sick a couple days ago, I'm not busting on you because i vac my kids but why so soon for your son after being so sick? I am personally going to say call his pedi because it should be thru his system seeing you can give it every 4 hours. I dont know

He missed gis two month vaccinations because he was sick, and my middle child is immune compromised so we wanted to get him vaccinated as soon as possible just in case he is too
