The principal was fairly easy on these kids, imo. Many would have kicked these kids out of school w/the suspension on their transcript!

How much you wanna bet that if these boys received a traditional punishment, they'd be fighting again.

I got into a fight every year from 8th grade[when I started going to that school] to junior year with the SAME girl, and every time we would both get suspended. The only reason why we didn't fight during our senior year is because I moved and switched schools again but I'm sure it would've happened.

Like I said in the other thread, I think it's a good alternative solution. It taught a lesson without humiliation or long term damage to their record, but they still had a consequence for their actions.

I don't care. Either way, it is wrong to use physical punishment, ever.

I said nothing about letting them off scot free.

I think it's great! My mom did this to my sister and I when we fought! Its a lessen they WONT forget.
